OutBack Power Systems Opens New Office in Barcelona, Spain
ARLINGTON, WA – September 2, 2008 – OutBack Power Systems S.L.U. , a wholly owned subsidiary of OutBack Power Systems, Inc., announced today the opening of its new office and warehouse in Barcelona, Spain, establishing a presence to meet ongoing demand from European, African and Middle Eastern markets. OutBack Power will execute technical support, service, sales and product distribution from this office.
Officially opening its doors on September 5th, OutBack Power’s Barcelona office, is located at C/ Castelló 17, 08830 – Sant Boi de Llobregat, and will be supported by a full staff. Housing 719 square meters (approximately 7,700 square feet) of office and warehouse space, OutBack Power’s Barcelona Office is designed to effectively meet the sales, support and distribution requirements of its customers in these regions.
“Our customer base continues to grow at an incredibly rapid pace worldwide, especially in markets where power grids currently do not exist,” said Kelly E. Lane, director of operations for OutBack Power’s Barcelona office. “We recognized that the most effective way to provide excellent customer service to these markets was in establishing a more significant European base from which we can execute business. The new OutBack Power Barcelona office strategically positions us to better reach our customers, distributors and installers throughout the region.”
OutBack Power recently introduced the FLEXmax 60, its newest addition to the FLEXmax family of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controllers, as well as announced the addition of a well-known solar energy system technical consultant as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager. The company is participating in the 23rd Annual European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition, hosting a booth.
